For education teams

PDF tools for teachers and students who work on paper

Worksheets are scans, assignments are photos of paper, and the learning platform rejects anything over 10 MB. Turn the pile into one clean, small, searchable PDF — on a school laptop or a phone.

Where the time goes

The scan nobody can search

A scanned worksheet is an image, so a student cannot search it and a teacher cannot copy a question out of it. OCR makes the text real.

The upload limit on the learning platform

Thirty pages of photos is 40 MB; the platform accepts 10. Compression and photo-to-PDF keep the assignment intact while shrinking it to fit.

Ten handouts, one packet

Merging a week of handouts into a single PDF, with page numbers, is the difference between a printable packet and ten separate downloads.

A workflow you can run today

Every step is a working tool, not a screenshot. The order below is the one that actually finishes the job.

  1. 1

    Scan to searchable

Photograph the pages, combine them, and run OCR so the class can search the text. Scans stay readable; the words become selectable.

  2. 2

    Assignment that uploads

Compress the file until it fits the platform, then add page numbers so the teacher can refer to a page by number instead of by screenshot.

  3. 3

    Worksheet that can be filled

Type into the blanks instead of printing, and annotate the reading with highlights and notes for the class discussion.

What it actually costs

No “unlimited” that quietly stops at a download button. These are the enforced numbers.

Education questions

Is it free for students?

The everyday tools are free with 20 jobs a day and files up to 100 MB, and no account is needed to use them. The Pro plan exists for people who hit those caps daily, not to unlock basic features.

Do the files leave the laptop?

Most tools — compress, merge, split, rotate, crop, watermark, page numbers, protect, fill and annotate — work in the browser, so the file is not uploaded. OCR, Office conversion and the AI tools use our servers and follow the documented retention windows.

Can a whole class use one computer?

Yes, because the tools do not require an account. Anything that saves to a storage account belongs to the signed-in person, so shared machines should use the download button rather than Storage.
