Which password does the bank use?
It depends on the bank. Many use your customer ID, the last digits of the account, or a password you set in the app. Check the download screen before you start.
Is the statement edited?
No. Dates, balances, and transactions stay as the bank exported them. Unlocking only removes the password required to open the file.
