Share PDF Online

Share a PDF without attachments: upload it once and send a private link that opens in any browser, on any device. Choose how long the link lives — 1, 7 or 30 days — and decide whether viewers can download the file or only read it in the page. The link expires automatically, you can delete it at any time, and shared documents are never indexed by search engines. The upload goes straight to encrypted storage with a short-lived signed URL.

How to share a PDF with a link

  1. 1Add the PDF you want to share.
  2. 2Pick how long the link should live — 1, 7 or 30 days — and whether viewers may download it.
  3. 3Create the link and copy it. Anyone with the link can open the PDF in their browser.
  4. 4Delete the link whenever you like; it also stops working on its expiry date.

What a private share link gives you

  • Private link with automatic expiry — 1, 7 or 30 days
  • View-only or downloadable, your choice per link
  • Delete a link any time; the manage key stays in your browser
  • Encrypted storage and no search-engine indexing

Questions about sharing PDFs

Does the recipient need an account?

No. The link opens a simple viewer page in any browser, on phone or desktop — no sign-up, no app.

Can I control downloads?

Yes. Turn downloads off and the viewer only sees the PDF in the page; the download button is hidden and download requests are refused.

How long do links last?

You choose 1, 7 or 30 days. After that the link answers as expired and the file is removed by the storage sweeper.

Can I delete a link early?

Yes. Keep the manage key from when you created the link (it stays in your browser) and delete the share any time before expiry.

Will Google index my shared PDF?

No. Share pages are marked so search engines do not index them, and the link itself is a random token that is not listed in sitemaps.

Is the upload encrypted?

Yes. The file goes to encrypted object storage over HTTPS with a short-lived signed URL. When the link expires or you delete it, the object is removed by the sweeper.

What size PDF can I share?

Free sharing follows the same 100 MB file ceiling as the rest of the free plan. Pro raises the cap for larger documents.

Can several people open the same link?

Yes. Anyone with the link can open it until it expires or you delete it. There is no separate invite list on the free share tool.
